Leather Dining Chair Ming

Danish designer Hans Wegner began a series of Dining Chairs that were inspired by portraits of Danish merchants sitting in Ming Chairs. One of those chairs was this leather dining chair (1949). Leather seat makes this chair very comfortable for after dinner discussions.

This chair is always challenging to make as this steam-bent solid teak wood frame demands perfect and skillful craftsmanship and an intimate knowledge of wood joinery.
